Project 10

In this project we mixed antique furniture with modern pieces. Double turquoise doors set the tone for the entire apartment and instantly draw attention. We left one of the old brick walls exposed. This textured backdrop provides a contrast to the contemporary elements, combined with antique furniture, which is present here. We strategically placed antique furniture pieces such as floor clocks, bench, chairs, mirrors, and lamps to create a balance between old and new. When we combine different styles, it is crucial to balance colors and textures. In this apartment we used a neutral color palette of earthy tones. Shades of beige, taupe, and cream form the backdrop, allowing the turquoise doors and the old brick wall to take center stage.
